Itinerary Details

Day by Day itineraryDay 1: Leh Arrival

To begin the tour, you will land at the Leh Airport and meet our representative. With his assistance, transfer to the booked hotel. Spend good amount of time to get used to the high-altitude sickness before opting for an evening walk through the traditional bazaars of the town. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

Day 2: Leh - Monastery Sightseeing

Today, you will be visiting the architecturally and culturally beautiful monasteries in and around Leh. Discover the simple yet invigorating lifestyle of the monks and the charming Buddhist paintings at Thiksey and Hemis Monasteries that enjoy the unspoiled natural beauty full of mountains, valleys and rivers. Later, you will visit the incredible Shey Palace which boasts of outstanding architecture and a museum which houses priceless Buddhist artefacts. Get back to the hotel at Leh and enjoy the dinner.

Day 3: Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh (320 km.)

Start an early morning drive to the mesmerizing Pangong Lake after having breakfast. Drive past the world’s third highest mountain pass road of Changla Pass (about 17,350 ft. high). Have the pleasure of exploring unique and flawless vistas of nature throughout the journey. Reach the lake which rests at the feet of beautiful mountains and has lush green pastures nearby. Explore the amazing avifauna and fauna near the lake and get astounded by the overwhelming peace. Watch speechlessly as the nature changes its colours and drive back to Leh, enjoying the scenic route once again. Enjoy dinner on arrival.

Day 4: Leh - Nubra Valley - Leh (240 km.)

Start another exciting day with breakfast and get ready for some more surprises on your way. Drive through the world’s highest motorable road (about 18,380 ft. high), enjoying the remarkable views of snow-clad mountains and rivers to reach the captivating Nubra Valley. Discover small villages amidst greenery and visit some popular monasteries in the region before returning to Leh.

Day 5: Leh – Sham

Have breakfast before we take you to another fascinating region of Ladakh. Spend time at the top attractions like Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and Hall of Fame Museum. Be a spectator to the heart-warming confluence of River Indus with River Zanskar. Get back to Leh by evening and have dinner at the hotel.

Day 6: Leh Departure

Transfer to the airport early morning and board the scheduled flight to end the tour.

Thanks to Waytoindia for 10 day in Rajasthan- Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Mount Abu and Ahmedabad. Everything from pickup from Jaipur airport to drop at Ahmedabad airport was very smooth. The hotels booked in Jaipur and Udaipur were amazing. In Jaisalmer the camel ride and Jeep safari though a bit expensive was a good experience. The car and the driver for the entire 10 days was very good. Thanks to the driver Mahesh, who drove the 2 ladies for the entire 10 days safely and dropped us in time for the return flight to Bangalore.
