Periyar has a host of things to do and the must visit places at Periyar include the national park, spice gardens, waterfalls. The wildlife fanatics can go on a safari and sight hordes of wild elephants – and if timely, maybe even sight a tiger. Sightseeing in Periyar includes the adventurous jungle safari by elephant or jeep in a boat that will take you around the surrounding lake from where you can glimpse of natural world at its best! Kumily

Kumily, a quaint and verdant town, 4 km. from Periyar is nested besides the Cardamom Hills, in the district of Idukki in Kerala. It is a major spice-trading hub and the vicinity of the locale is stocked with aromatic whiffs of freshly grounded spices.

Mangladevi Temple

The Mangla Devi Temple is most popular and oldest local temple of the region, nested at an altitude of 1337 m dedicated to Kannagi or Mangladevi.

Chellarkovil

The small village of Chellarkovil is popular for its waterfalls, green plains and coconut grooves.

Vandanmedu

Vandanmedu is popularly known as the world’s largest cardamom auction centre because of its several plantations that are dotted all over the region. The travelers can seek guided tours to see these plantations.

Tribal Tour

Take a guided tour of the village and see the Mannans, the oldest inhabiting tribal communitity. Check out the Tribal Heritage Museum, which displays fishing equipments, hunting traps, therapeutic plants, furniture, models, paintings and cereals.

Thanks for arranging such a wonderful trip. We all had a great time in Manali and Shimla. All are very happy about it. The trip was comfortable, vehicle was good, Mr Mishra ji was very friendly and helpful, always ready to start any time according to our convenience. It’s because of him that we went to Naldehra in Shimla and had a nice pony ride & enjoyed much inspite of all our tiredness.

Regarding stay, stay was good in Manali at Hotel Monal, room was spacious and good, view was awesome and food was great...staffs were helpful though things were a bit unorganized. Hotel Prestige was excellent.

Overall we had an excellent trip, thanks to you and entire WaytoIndia team.

We had a wonderful and memorable trip to Rajasthan. Though it was a very tight schedule, everything was arranged for us by the fabulous team at Way to India. I'd like to especially mention, Gopal, who was with us almost every step of the way, making sure no stone is left unturned in making the trip something we will always cherish. He very patiently helped plan out the trip from route, to transportation, to hotel bookings etc. Thank you so much Gopal!!

Our driver, Sunil Sharma, was very helpful and cooperative and took us to all the interesting spots, the car was in top condition and always impeccably clean.

The hotels we stayed at were good. Ankur Resort was great, we enjoyed the food and the service was top notch. I'd like to especially mention Sunil at the hotel restaurant who was very sweet and provided great service at all meals. Kudos Sunil, keep it up!! Horizon Hotel was very good too, being centrally heated it was of great comfort in this chilly weather. Again, the service was superb, though the complimentary breakfast could be improved.

Rest assured that we will plan our trip through Way to India next time too!!!
