Priyadarshini Point
It was the vantage point from where Captain Forsyth discovered Pachmarhi in 1857. The place is identified for colonial architecture. This point offers scenic views of Pachmarhi and its brilliant surroundings.
Jamuna Prapat
It is the drinking water source for Pachmarhi. Also the bathing pools above the fall are popular
Handi Khoh
It is a ravine with 300 feet high precipice as well as very steep sides. Surrounded by dense woods, this amazing place is associated with the Hindu God (Lord Shiva)
Apsara Vihar
It is an ideal picnic spot to enjoy with family and friends. There is no fear of children drowning as the pool is shallow.
Rajat Prapat
An ideal place for adventure seekers and is only ten minutes’ walk over rocks from Apsara Vihar.
Irene Pool
Named after Irene Bose, wife of Justice Vivian Bose, its route upstream leads to a cave.
Jalawataran
It is a place for people looking for strenuous adventure as the trek is steep for entire 4 km. to the base.
Sunder Kund
The fall ends in a rocky pool that is ideal for swimming.
Mahadeo
It is one of the holiest places with an impressive Shiva Linga and cave shelter to the east.
Chhota Mahadeo
Considered sacred, it is a narrow spot with water cascading downwards.
Chaurgarh
A summit crowned with emblem of Mahadeo worship, it is 4 km. from Pachmarhi.
Satpura National Park
It is a natural wildlife sanctuary covering 524 square km. area and home of Bison, Leopard, tiger, Leopard, bear, four-horned deer, blue-bull and a rich variety of birds.
Other prominent places to see in Pachmarhi are Jata Shankar, Dhoopgarh, Tridhara, Vanashree Vihar, Reechgarh that is a natural amphitheatre, Sangam, Satpura National Park for wildlife, Catholic and Christ Church, Bison Lodge, Cave Shelters, harper’s cave and above all; Pandav Caves that has five ancient caves from which Pachmarhi derives its name.
