Garamur Satra
Laid down by Lakshmikantadeva, this satra preserves some of traditional weapons like cannons. The satra is also renowned for the famous dance form ‘Raasleela’ performed here.
Dakhinpat Satra
The satra is popular among locals and tourists for the way Raasleela enacted here. The dance is performed with great enthusiasm and sparkle. The dance form is so famous here, it is declared as a major festival of Assam by the State Government.
Samaguri Satra
Known as the creators of the traditional masks and centre for classical and cultural learning, this satra is one of the glorious pilgrim spots in Majuli. The sightseeing in Majuli is incomplete without this satra.

This satra is famous for the Paalnaam and Apsara dance performed here. You will also find a unique collection of traditional Assamese jewellery, handicrafts and utensils here.
Bengennati Satra
Muraridev established this satra, Bengennati is a significant centre for performing arts and rare collection of antiques.
Kamalabari Satra
An important centre for culture, literature and arts. This satra is founded by Bedulapatam Ata.
