Located at a distance of 3 km. from Lakkidi, this pristine freshwater lake is amidst dense forests. Boating is an attraction here. Sree Narayana Ashram near the lake is a lovely place with flowering trees. A handicraft shop near this lake sells unique household items made of natural materials like bamboo, coconut husk etc.

Chain tree is located in the mid-way of Vythiri and Lakkidi. It is a large Ficus tree that has a height of around 98 feet with elegantly drooping branch and silky leaves. The fruit it bears is a bird favourite, so you will see many beautiful birds hovering around this tree. This tree is bounded by chains and a myth says that it encloses a troubled spirit into this tree.
