Vast tea gardens are the highlight of this hill station. Taking a walk along the tea estates of Nilgiris enjoying fresh smell of the tea leaves and watching the tea pickers is a wonderful experience.

Longwood Shola is a perfect trekking route amongst beautiful forest troughs. Serene, quiet, and dense, this forest is the remaining part of the Shola forest in the Nilgiri area. If you are lucky, you might also spot a flying fox or an Indian bison in these woods. This place is a wildlife reserve housing variety of animals and vegetation offering exhilarating experience to nature lovers.

This site is archaeologically rich and speaks of the times of the Indian epics, Ramayana and Mahabharata. Certified by Kotagiri Wildlife Association, this area houses a lot of birds. Ornithologists and bird enthusiasts can spend hours here watching the several varieties fly by.
