It is the highest peak in the region and offers excellent views of the surrounding valley. A popular picnic spot, it is often used for trekking.
Spread over 15 acres of land, the sanctuary houses some of the rarest species of flora and fauna. The sanctuary is also an apt location for mountain biking, trekking, animal safari, and bird watching.
Situated on the river side near the Wild Camp at Kherwadi, it is the temple of Lord Ganesha. One of the main festivals celebrated in the temple is the Vinayaka Chaturthi, the day of Ganesha Puja.
