Bedsa Caves
These ancient caves of are known to be amongst the oldest caves in Maharashtra. You can reach these caves by climbing steps on the sloppy hilly location. The cave is divided in 2 parts. The main cave Chaitya is the prayer hall and enshrines a beautiful stupa. The 25 feet high pillars in this cave has beautiful carvings of elephants, bulls and horses. The other cave Vihara also has similar carvings. Tourists visit these caves early morning to catch a detailed view of these carvings in the broad sunlight.
Bhairi Caves
These sharp topped caves are situated on high rocks and are quite difficult to reach treading on rocky steps. The cave Bhairav is still a place for animal sacrifice. Many activity groups conduct adventurous trekking here to get a close view of the caves. The Bhairi caves are surrounded with undulated and slippery forest covers.
Kondeshwar Temple
· Enshrining the idol of Lord Shiva, Shri Kondeshwar Temple is an ancient elegant strategically located temple on the hilly forest area of Pohara, very close to Kamshet. Other than shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple has many small shrines. The Hemadpanthi architectural style along with beautifully carved black stones also houses Shri Khateshwar Maharaj Samadhi.
Bhandar Dongar
This is temple built in the medieval period dedicated to saint Tukaram. The exact location of this quaint temple is on a hill top at Talegaon near Kamshet. The temple ambience is a charming one, where the devotees of the saint pay their tribute through devotional songs. You can also enjoy the calmness in religious preaching sessions held by sages and religious leaders.
