Barsi Gate
Hansi has five entry gates (Delhi Gate on East, Hisar Gate on the West, Barsi Gate to the South, Umra Gate to the South-West, and the Gosain Gate in the North). Among all these gates, Barsi Gate is the most famous one and a major tourist attraction, located in the centre of the city. It was built in the year 1304 by Alauddin Khilji to protect the city from outside attacks. The Mughal style of architecture is quite prominent in this gate. The inscriptions on this gate in Persian language date back to period between 1304 and 1345.
