Amaravathi is the sacred pilgrim spot for Buddhists. Around 2000 years back, Acharya Nagarjuna built India’s largest Buddhist Stupa here. The place has got its name after the renowned temple of Amareswara Swamy.

Nagarjunasagar Srisailam Sanctuary
Nagarjunasagar Srisailam Sanctuary

Positioned close to Nallamalai Hills, this sanctuary houses several exotic wildlife species. It is heralded to be the largest tiger reservoir in India. The sanctuary is renowned among tourists for its deep valley, furrowed terrain, green mountains, etc.

Built during the 4th-5th century, Undavalli caves are known for the dramatic illustration of Indian rock-cut architecture. 

Kondaveedu Fort

This historical fort is surrounded by temples, pillared giant halls, residential buildings, etc. The fort is located on a hilltop, from where the view is awe inspiring. 


Ethipothala Falls

Ethipothala Falls presents a breathtaking view of its crystal clear falls. Closer to this is a rock-cut temple of Dattatreya Swami and a crocodile breeding centre.
