The third highest mountain in the world that stands tall at an altitude of 8586 m. offers ample mountain climbing and camping options for adventure tourists. Though the climb could be arduous, the wonderful views from the summit can make it truly memorable.

Dhoom Gompa is famous for the majestic statue of the Maitrayaei Buddha where you can also see rare Buddhist manuscripts.

Originally owned by the Lebong Tea Company, owned and managed by the British, Badamtan is located across the Rangit River and offers great views around. You can buy garden fresh tea here. The estate has a 14-foot-high statue of Lord Buddha in a rare posture of widely opened eyes.

This first Indian passenger Ropeway at Rangit Valley has been set up over tea gardens over the river. You can reach Singhla Bazaar from Darjeeling in 45 minutes using the ropeway.
