Kanipakkam
The famous 'Vinayaka Chaturthi' festival is hosted in the Lord Vinayaka Temple, which attracts thousands of pilgrims.
Kalavagunta
It is a small town located on the merging point of the River Aragonda and River Ponnai. The place houses two famous temples, Mukkantisvara Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lakshminarayana, devoted to Lord Vishnu and goddesses Lakshmi.
Puligunda
Tourists visit the hillock at a height, of around 210 m. to spot the famous rock pillar, identified as Puligunda or The Tiger Hill. On the hillock there is a Shiva and Ayyapa temple.
Mogili
This coastal village is famous, for the eminently sculpted Mogileeswara temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and the Pushkarini or perennial water flowing from the mouth of the holy bull Nandi.
Ardhagiri
It literally means half hill, and houses the Sanjeevaraya Pushkarini or the sacred pond. This unique water body does not dry even in dry weather and it, is believed that the water from this pond cures many diseases.
