Filled with seemingly sky touching cedar trees is an abode of wildlife. Visitors will find Kakkar, Ghoral, Sambhar, Khalij, Cheer, and Red Jungle Fowl from sighting posts built in the forest.
It is the highest cricket ground in the world at an altitude of 2,444 m. from sea level and was built in 1893. It is also the playground for Chail Military School and is used as Polo ground during school vacations. The tree house at this ground has been built in the corner of the play ground on a big banyan tree.
