Kolaba Fort
At a modest distance (about 2 km.) from the town, nestled on the shoreline is the most spectacular fort with a huge sculpted front entrance and the freshwater well on it.
Kihim Beach
The secluded beach is located at a distance of 12 km. from Alibag and famous for thick cover of coconut trees. Head out for a view of the stunning tower of St. Barbara, famed for bird watching.
Nagaon Beach
This unique beach is prominent for coconuts, betel nuts woods and the splashing waves of tiding Arabian Sea. Tourist can enjoy water sports like boat ride, kayaking and island trips to visit the twin locations of Khanderi and Undheri forts.
The Khanderi Fort
The fort built in the year 1678 is located about 4 km. from Thal beach. The Fort adorns itself with a lighthouse, which was constructed later on. The fort was under the British control for a long time.
The Undheri Fort
Around 300 meters from the town is the island fort of Undheri. Visitors can hire local fishing boats to visit the fort.
