Upon arrival in Shimla, check in at the hotel and have lunch. The rest of the evening will be at your will to explore the beautiful hill-station.
You can take a walk down the Mall Road (open 09.00 a.m. – 9.00 p.m.; open all days; entry of vehicles is prohibited on Mall road so the best way to explore the entire area is on foot). It is one of the longest stretches of pedestrian shopping in the world. The road is studded with cosy cafes and restaurants. Grab some Himalayan tea and shop for souvenirs. Here you will find Kinnauri and Kullu shawls, rugs, footwear, caps, imported goods and fabulous Tibetan handicraft items.
Later, return to the hotel in Shimla for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day Sightseeing of ShimlaStart your second day of the Himachal Pradesh honeymoon tour package with a delicious breakfast in the hotel. Then head out to explore all the major tourist attractions in the summer capital of British India.
First, visit the Ridge (open 9.00 a.m. – 10.00 p.m.; open all days, free entry). It is the venue for fairs, cultural events and celebrations. It offers a romantic rendezvous of landscape, beauty and breeze. You can also visit the Lakkar Bazaar (open 9.00 a.m. – 7.00 p.m.; open all days) to shop for local handicrafts, woollens, shawls, exquisite jewellery, etc.
Next, visit Fagu. It is a perfect place for trekkers and naturalists. Being one of the highest points in the Shimla district, it remains pleasant and cool even during the summers. A vast expanse of the snow-capped Himalayas and green fields in the backdrop make the landscape look breath-taking.
Then, visit Kufri. Home to of the highest amusement parks in the world, Kufri is set at 2800 metres above sea level. Opt for Go karting race here with your better half. Later, head to the Mahasu peak, the highest peak in Kufri. The most romantic thing about this place is that is it accessible only by riding on a horse or a mule. It makes for an interesting experience with your loved one.
Return and enjoy a delicious dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Shimla - Manali (253 Km. / approximately 6 hours’ drive)The morning will commence with a scrumptious breakfast, which will be followed by check out from the hotel in Shimla. Enjoy the stunning sceneries and picturesque landscapes as you proceed to Manali, Himachal Pradesh by road.
While on the way to Manali, a small detour will take you to the Kullu Shawl Industry and the Kullu Vaishno Mata Temple. Kullu Shawls are well known all around the world for its elegant yet simple designs, fine woollen fabric and its manufacturing quality. The Kullu Vaishno Mata Temple (open 06.00 a.m. – 10.00 p.m.) is situated on the banks of Beas River. The main temple appears like a cave and visitors are required to crawl inside it.
On arrival in Manali, check-in at prebooked hotel. Relax for some time and the rest of the evening will be free to explore the natural surroundings.

Day 4: Sightseeing tour of Manali After an early and healthy breakfast on your Manali honeymoon package, proceed to explore the beautiful destinations of Manali.
Start by visiting the Tibetan monasteries. One of the most captivating aspects of Manali is the fact that it has numerous colourful monasteries. The Himalayan Nyingamapa Gompa and the Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa are the most popular ones.
Next, visit the Beas Kund (open 06:00 a.m. – 06:00 p.m., open all days) It is the originating point of the holy Beas River. On a clear day, you can catch sights of the splendid Pir Panjal Ranges. You can indulge in undertakings like mountain biking and camping as well.
Lastly, visit the Jana falls (open 06:00 a.m. – 06:00 p.m., open all days). The lovely Jana Fall is a hidden gem in the Naggar region. Surrounded by pine trees, deodar trees, apple orchards and astonishing snow-covered mountain peaks, this fall is a charismatic picnic spot.
Head back to the hotel to enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner in the hotel.
Day 5: Excursion of Rohtang pass On the fifth day of your Kullu Manali honeymoon tour package, have breakfast and head out for a day excursion to Rohtang pass.
Rohtang pass (remains closed during winters and on Tuesdays) connects Kullu valley and Lahaul-Spiti valley. It is located at a massive height of 3978 metres and is covered by snow almost at all times. The pass charges a fee of INR 500 per head with an additional INR 50 which is the cost of a congestion fee that is made obligatory by the National Green Tribunal on all the vehicles that travel here. The permits required to travel to Rohtang pass can be booked online too.
The pass attracts more than 25 lakh visitors every year. The snow-covered mountains become responsible for providing a perfect opportunity to go skiing and snow scooter riding with your partner. Besides that, you can take a ride on the sledge along with your loved one and slide through the snow in a wooden toboggan.
Return to the hotel in Manali for a much deserved good night’s sleep.
Day 6: Manali - Dharamshala (240 Km / appx. 7-8 hrs.) After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Manali, Himachal Pradesh and drive down to Dharamshala. The great Tibetan leader- the Dalai Lama resides here.
Check in at the hotel and have lunch. Then move out to visit the tranquil attractions in Dharamshala. This hill station is set at an altitude of 1,475 meters above sea level and is encircled by thick deodar cedar trees, exotic culture, snow-laden mountains and quaint old monasteries.
Taking about monasteries, visit the Gyuto Monastery (open 06.00 a.m. – 06.00 p.m.) which is popular for its study of Tantric meditation. This is an extremely serene and peaceful place to spend an afternoon.
Next, visit the Kangra Art Museum (open 10.00 a.m. – 05.00 p.m.; entry fees INR 10/50 for Indians/foreigners). It has a collection of coin memorabilia, rare pottery, sculptures and anthropological materials. Some of the items exhibited in the museum date back to 5th century.
Lastly, visit the Bhagsunag Temple (open 06.00 a.m. – 07.00 p.m.). It is believed to be a prehistoric temple where Lord Shiva had prevailed himself.
Return to the hotel in Dharamshala for a peaceful sleep next to your beloved one.
Day 7: Dharamshala / Dharamshala - Dalhousie (115 Km / appx. 4 hrs.)Check out from your hotel in Dharamshala after a lip-smacking breakfast and drive to Dalhousie. On your way, visit McLoadgunj and see the tourist attractions there.
Visit the Jwalamukhi Devi Temple. It is the most well-known ancient temple of Goddess Durga. It is believed that Sati's tongue fell here and the goddess is manifest as small blue flames that burn continuously through fissures in the old rock.
Upon arriving in Dalhousie, check in at the hotel and move out to explore the town. Start by visiting the Subhash baoli. It is a picturesque spot named after Subhash Chandra Bose. There are a number of dhabas, tea shops and food corners nearby that will help you satiate your taste buds while glazing the beauty of this place in a pleasing weather.
Next, visit the Rang Mahal and Lakshmi Narayan temple. The Rang Mahal (open 09.00 a.m. – 02.00 p.m.) is a huge palace that exhibits a fusion of British and Mughal architectures. You can purchase items like the handmade handkerchiefs, ethnic slippers and woollen shawls. The Lakshmi Narayan Temple (open 06.00 a.m. – 08.30 p.m.) is a 10th-century old structure dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu.
