Itinerary Details

Day by Day itineraryDay 1: Arrive at Shimla and Visit the Jakhoo Temple

Arrive at Delhi and start your Himachal holiday tour package with a drive towards Shimla. It would take approximately 8 hours to cover the 380 kilometres drive.

Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and freshen up.

Spend a lovely evening at the Jakhoo Temple here which holds the world’s largest Hanuman statue. This magnificent statue is visible from almost all directions of this town. However, visiting this temple will give you a glimpse of the enormous statue.

It is believed that this is the very spot where Lord Hanuman stopped to take some rest while he was in the hunt of the Sanjeevani Bootito revive Lord Lakshman.

The Jakhoo Temple offers a panoramic view of the town of Sanjauli and the Shivalik ranges. Make sure you click numerous photographs from this beautiful location.

Head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Shimla

After a sumptuous breakfast and start your day at the Tara Devi Temple.

The Tara Devi Temple is built as a dedication to the Goddess of stars and is located high upon the mountain peak. A number of fascinating beliefs about this temple make this visit an interesting experience.

The Shimla Mall Road is located is in the centre of this town and is covered with clubs, restaurants, banks, tourist offices, shops and post offices. This road truly represents the true spirit and charisma of this town. The infinite activities on this road ensure that all visitors have a fun filled time here.

Your Himachal holiday tour package further takes you to visit the famous towns of Kufri and Fagu which are known for their beautiful scenic beauty and is a considered to be a paradise for nature lovers.

Day 3: Arrive at Manali and Head to Vashisht Baths and Van Vihar

Enjoy an early breakfast and continue your Himachal holiday tour package and head to Manali. Your drive to Manali would be 253 kilometers long and would require 6 hours to be completed.

Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and freshen up.

Later head to the Vashisht Baths where you can enjoy a dip in the hot water springs and baths. Vashisht Baths are natural springs adjoined with stunning sandstone temples. The water of these springs is believed to consist of medical properties and also cures skin diseases. You will find uncountable small shops around the springs where you can enjoy a shopping experience of souvenirs and religious merchandise.

Spend a relaxed evening at the Van Vihar which is a gorgeous beautiful Municipal garden situated on the Mall Road. You can enjoy a boating experience in the pond over here.

Day 4: Temple Visits

After a sumptuous breakfast and start the day four of your Himachal holiday tour package.

The Gayatri Temple is entirely made out of marble and is dedicated to the Goddess Gayatri. This temple is considered to be an architectural marvel due to its unique construction and consists of the intricate woodwork.

Later head to the Hadimba Temple which is built as a dedication to Hadimba Devi who was the mother of Ghatothkach and the wife of Bhima. This temple is built on top of a rock amidst the gorgeous cedar forests. Wooden walls, doorways and a cone-shaped roof give this temple a unique look.

Another gorgeous temple of this town is the Manu Temple which is the only temple of the country to be built as a dedication to Manu, the creator of the human race. This temple is constructed in a Pagoda style and holds a great spiritual and historical significance.

Day 5: Rohtang Pass

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast and head to Rohtang Pass for a fun-filled day in your Himachal holiday tour package.

The Rohtang Pass is located at a height of 3978 meters and is one of the only hills worlds over to have snow for all the 12 months of the year. The splendid beauty of the drive up to the top of the hill leaves a tourist awestruck.

You can spend your day in the numerous adventure activities and treks on this pass. The sledge ride over here involves sliding through the snow peaks in a wooden toboggan and is a favourite among visitors. You can also pursue mountain biking in which you will ride the bike through routes which are lesser taken. Skiing and tyre drop activities are also undertaken here for adventure enthusiasts.

Day 6: Manali - Chandigarh

Thanks to Waytoindia for 10 day in Rajasthan- Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Mount Abu and Ahmedabad. Everything from pickup from Jaipur airport to drop at Ahmedabad airport was very smooth. The hotels booked in Jaipur and Udaipur were amazing. In Jaisalmer the camel ride and Jeep safari though a bit expensive was a good experience. The car and the driver for the entire 10 days was very good.
