Best of Kumaon Hill Tour

Kumaon is a region of several natural lakes, which are the center of attraction of the town and good for sporting activities. The popular hill stations of Kumaon are Almora, Nainital, Ranikhet, Valley of Flowers etc.

Itinerary Details

Day by Day itineraryDay 1: Delhi – Nainital [310 kms/ 06 Hrs]

Early morning drive to Nainital. On arrival check into the hotel. Rest of the day free at your own leisure. Enjoy dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2: Nainital

After a healthy breakfast in the hotel, enjoy the boat ride at Naini Lake, followed by lake tour and visit of other important places in Nainital and around. Return back to hotel for dinner & Overnight stay at Nainital.

Day 3: Nainital - Ranikhet

After a leisure breakfast in the hotel, later in afternoon drive to Ranikhet, arrive and transfer to the hotel. In evening free at your own leisure. Enjoy dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4: Ranikhet

After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Ranikhet and nearby places, Explore Hedhakhan Temple, also visit Chaukhotia Apple orchid as well as golf course and rest of the day is free at leisure. Enjoy your dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5: Ranikhet - Almora

After finishing breakfast check out on time and drive to Almora. On arrival check into the hotel and rest of the day free at leisure to explore the unspoiled flora & fauna of this beautiful hill station. Dinner & Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 6: Almora

This day is kept for full day excursion to Binsar Wildlife sanctuary a 30-min. drive from Almora, Enjoy & Explore all important places in and around Almora. Return back to hotel to have dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7: Almora - Delhi

After breakfast check out from the hotel and directly drive to Delhi. On arrival, transfer to Airport/Hotel for onward journey.

I planned a South India tour from Chennai to Kochi. I asked from many different travel companies but I got the best and cheapest offer by 'Way to India'. That was two weeks travel plan. Thanks to Waytoindia for 10 day in Rajasthan- Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Mount Abu and Ahmedabad. Everything from pickup from Jaipur airport to drop at Ahmedabad airport was very smooth. The hotels booked in Jaipur and Udaipur were amazing. In Jaisalmer the camel ride and Jeep safari though a bit expensive was a good experience. The car and the driver for the entire 10 days was very good. Thanks to the driver Mahesh, who drove the 2 ladies for the entire 10 days safely and dropped us in time for the return flight to Bangalore.
