Day by Day itineraryDay 1: Ahmedabad Check in at the hotel on arrival at Ahmedabad. Some of the tourist attractions you should visit include Gandhi Ashram (Closed on Monday), City museum and Hathisingh Jain Temple. In the evening, proceed to visit Adalaj Step well and Akshardham Temple. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Ahmedabad – Lothal – Black Buck Park – Bhavnagar (200kms/4hrs)On Day 2, you will be visiting Bhavnagar and on your way make a stopover at Lothal to explore the remnants of the ancient Indus valley civilization. Also visit Velavadar National Park, which holds the credit of the successful conservation of the blackbuck, which was on the verge of extinction. Later proceed to visit Nishkalank Mahadev Temple in Koliyak, Bhavnagar. Overnight stay at hotel
Day 3: Bhavnagar – Palitana – Sasangir (250kms/5hrs)The day starts with an early morning trip to Sasanigir. On the way, you will visit the holy Palitana mountain, which is considered as the most sacred pilgrimage place by the Jain community. The Palitana temples made up of over 3000 temples make the world's largest temple complex. Later arrive at Sasangir and visit Gir Interpretation Zone. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Sasangir – Diu (110kms/2hrs)Set out for a Jeep safari in Gir National Park before proceeding to the beach town of Diu. Some of the other attractions that you visit include St. Paul's Church, Diu Museum and Diu Fort. Relax on the beach; enjoy the sunset and ample beach fun in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel
Day 5: Diu - Somnath (90kms/2hrs)Proceed to Somnath to visit Bhalka Tirth, Triveni Sangam, Geeta Mandir, Chowpati & Somnath Temple. Attend evening aarti followed by the spectacular light and sound show.
Day 6: Somnath – Porbandar - Dwarka (250kms/5hrs)Visit the sacred town of Dwarka and visit Porbandar enroute where you can visit Kirti Mandir – the place where Gandhiji was born and the only Sudama Temple in the world. Later arrive at Dwarka to visit Dwarkadeesh Temple. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7: Dwarka – Jamnagar - Rajkot (250kms/5hrs)In the morning, visit Bet Dwarka, the birth place of Krishna and Nageshwar Temple, which is one of the 12th Jyotilingas of Lord Shiva on the way. You can also visit Rukmini Temple and Gopi Talav. In the evening, visit Bala Hanuman Temple at Jamnagar known for its nonstop Ramdhun since 1956, which earned it a place in Guinness Book of World Records. Later arrive at Rajkot for the overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8: Rajkot - Ahmedabad (230kms/5hrs)In the morning, proceed to Ahmedabad. Drop at airport/railway station.
