Though there are small airports at Kamalpur, Khowai and Kailashahar near Ambassa, but each is currently non-operative. One must reach Agartala Airport (about 94 km. away) and take a cab or private car to reach Ambassa. The nearest rail station is also at Agartala (about 89 km. away), from where one can avail the buses or cabs to reach the destination. Ambassa is well connected by road with the nearby cities of Tripura and those of neighbouring states. Local transport within Ambassa is executed through buses, cars and rickshaws.
