One of the most interesting tourist spots in Kasauli, Monkey Point (also famous as “Manki Point”)is the highest point in the town. Shaped like a foot, it is believed that when Lord Hanuman was coming back from the Himalayas after getting Sanjivani Booti, his foot touched the hills hence the shape.
Known for presenting a gorgeous view of the distant plains of Chandigarh and the Sutlej River, Monkey Point also houses a small Hanuman Temple. Famous for posing wonderful views, skipping monkeys, wonderful climate and calm atmosphere, Monkey Point is worth visiting for nature lovers.
Other nearby attractions includes Krishna Bhavan Mandir, Christ Church, Dharampur, Sunset Point, Kasauli Club, Old Gurkha Fort and Sabathu etc.
