Overview

Srisailam Wildlife Tour takes the wildlife lovers to Nagarjunsagar-Srisailam Tiger Reserve which is spread over Nalgonda District, Mahbubnagar district, Kurnool District, Prakasam District and Guntur District in South India. Sanctuary was covered under Project Tiger in the year 1983.

Bengal tiger, Indian leopard, Indian pangolin, Sloth bear, Ussuri dhole, blackbuck, chinkara chital, sambar deer, chevrotain,and chowsingha are some of the wild animals found in Srisailam Wildlife sanctuary.

Tips for this tour

You may visit Maleela Tertham waterfalls inside the forest.
You may visit Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
Also visit the temple of Sri Bhramarambha Devi.
Take ropeway to Pathalganga and 20 mins boat ride to the Srisailam dam.
You may also take an added tour to pre-historic Akkamahadevi Caves.
You may also visit Chenchu Laxmi tribal museum.

Day by Day itineraryDay 1: Hyderabad – Srisailam Sanctuary

Arrive at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Hyderabad.Our representative shall meet you and assist you in your onward drive to Nagarjunasagar - Snsailam Sanctuary which is at distance of 150 kms from Hyderabad

Srisailam Sanctuary which was renamed as Rajiv Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary in the year 1992,is located in Nallamala forests in the newly carved out state of Telangana.Sanctuary is a home to leopards and tigers apart from other flora and fauna. Upon arrival at Srisailam Sanctuary ,check-in at the Jungle resort. Enjoy dinner & overnight stay at resort.

Day 2: Wildlife Safari at Srisailam Sanctuary

After breakfast, proceeds to morning and afternoon safaris in wildlife Sanctuary. Evening shall be at leisure. Overnight stay at resort .

Day 3: Wildlife Safari at Srisailam Sanctuary

After breakfast leave again for morning and afternoonwildlife safari in Srisailam Sanctuary. Overnight stay at Resort.

Day 4: Srisailam Sanctuary – Hyderabad

In the morning after breakfast ,drive to Hyderabad. Tour & Services Ends.

Thanks to Waytoindia for 10 day in Rajasthan- Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Mount Abu and Ahmedabad. Everything from pickup from Jaipur airport to drop at Ahmedabad airport was very smooth. The hotels booked in Jaipur and Udaipur were amazing. In Jaisalmer the camel ride and Jeep safari though a bit expensive was a good experience. The car and the driver for the entire 10 days was very good. Thanks to the driver Mahesh, who drove the 2 ladies for the entire 10 days safely and dropped us in time for the return flight to Bangalore.
