Day by Day itineraryDay 1: Arrival in Srinagar
Your Srinagar Leh Ladakh tour package starts with arrival at the airport or the railway station.
As soon as you arrive, you will be escorted to the hotel in Srinagar. Let the excitement build up, as you ascend the prosperous green forested hills via winding roads.
Check in and relax in the hotel. Later, head out to take a Shikara ride at the Dal Lake. It is the most charismatic aspects of tourism in Kashmir. The vibrancy of the lake makes the ride a pleasurable one. The pariah kites, tufted ducks, white breasted kingfisher, cotton teals and little grebe are some of the birds that can be effortlessly spotted while relishing a Shikara ride in Kashmir. The ride’s capacity is for 4 people and is approximately priced at INR 400 for 2 hours.
Later, return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Local Sightseeing in Srinagar
On day 2 of your Srinagar Leh Ladakh tour package, head out for sightseeing in Srinagar.
Today, you will visit Shankaracharya Temple. Set at 1,000 feet atop a hill, the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Be prepared to climb about 200 steps here.
Next, visit the Hazratbal Mosque. Women are only allowed till the first part of the mosque. As you walk down this famous sacred sanctum, you will be amazed by the intricate Italian and Persian architectural influences.
Later take a sightseeing tour of Mughal Gardens- the Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) and the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure). The natural beauty of the place is filled with scented flowers and lush green grass. It is a stress-buster and a sight for sore eyes. Take some time to sit and venerate the beauty of the place.

Day 3: Srinagar to Gulmarg (54 Kms / 1.30 Hours Approximately)
On the third day of this Srinagar Leh Ladakh tour package, start your day early with a healthy breakfast and head to Gulmarg. This is where all the excitement takes place. It is the epitome of skiing in the country since 1927, when the very first ski resort was established here. If you wish, you can opt for skiing and snowboarding from 4124 meters here.

Day 4: Srinagar to Kargil via Songmarg (204 Kms / 6-7 Hours Approximately)
On this day, have breakfast and check out from your hotel in Srinagar. A mesmerising 6-7 hour drive will make you reach Kargil.
En-route, you will cross Sonmarg, which is a balmy place for campaigning and sleeping in tents while counting the dazzling stars in the night sky.It is set at an altitude of 9,186 feet and this place is a trekker’s paradise. The trekking path may be a little hard journey to undertake but the enchanting views make it worthwhile.

Day 5: Kargil to Leh (via Lamanyuru)
Start your fifth day of the Srinagar Leh Ladakh tour package with an early breakfast and check out from the hotel in Kargil.
Start your car and drive to cross River Indus and reach Alchi. It is the oldest Buddhist learning centre in Ladakh. A national heritage site, the complex comprises of numerous temples and chortens from different time periods.
Do not miss out on the vintage woodwork and paintings done by Kashmiri artists in the interior of the monastery along with the textile prints that depict Buddha’s life.
Next, drive up to the hill that defies the law of gravity- the Magnetic hill. It creates an illusion such that it pulls stationary vehicles upwards.

Day 6: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (18,390 ft / 120 kms / 4-5 Hours Approximately)
Start your day early yet again and fill your stomach with scrumptious breakfast. Then, set out for a 4-5 hour drive to reach Nubra Valley. It is also popularly known as the valley of flowers.
This place is brimming with lush greenery and moon-like landscapes. It is approximately 10,000 feet higher than the sea level.
The journey will make you cross Khardung La. It is assumed to be the world's highest motor able road pass. At an elevation of 5,359 m, the pass is purposefully significant to India as it is used to carry provisions to the Siachen Glacier. Enjoy breath-taking views of the Indus valley and ridges of the Zanskar ranges from the pass.
Reach Nubra Valley and enjoy a night under the starry sky at our campsite.
Day 7: Nubra Valley to Leh (120 kms / 4-5 Hours Approximately)

Today, grab an opportunity to ride on the back of a Bactrian camel amidst the sand dunes of this high altitude desert. A bactrian camel is a rare double-humped camel and is native of this place.Snow-capped mountains make for a beautiful backdrop while you ride on the camel’s back.Costing of the ride is around INR 180 for an adult for 15 minutes.
Head to Diskit then, the headquarter town of Nubra Valley. You can visit the local bazaar for handicraft and souvenir shopping.

Day 8: Leh to Pangong Lake (140 kms / 4-5 Hours Approximately)
Yes, heaven really does exist. And you can see it from just 35 kilometres off the Indo-China border. On the eighth day of your Srinagar Leh Ladakh tour package, have breakfast and drive to Pangong Lake.
The journey begins at Thiksey village. If time persists, visit its huge monasteries that span over an entire mountain range.
En- route, stop at the Changla Pass. It is the second highest motorable road in the world. Grab photo opportunities here before finally heading to Pangong Lake. Upon arrival, check in at the camp near Pangong Lake.
It is a blue brackish lake extends from India to China and is 134 km long. The lake provides a ground for a large variability of migratory birds like rear black-necked cranes, Brahmani Ducks and Seagulls.

Day 9: Pangong Lake to Leh
