Ranikhet Tour - Ranikhet is a hill station and cantonment town in Almora district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Ranikhet which means Queen's meadow in Hindi gets its name from a local legend which states that it was here, that Raja Sudhardev won the heart of his queen, Rani Padmini, who subsequently chose the area for her residence, giving it the name, Ranikhet, though no palace exists in the area.

Day by Day itineraryDay 1: Delhi – Ranikhet [379 Kms/09-10 hrs]

Early morning drives to Ranikhet from Delhi, on arrival check into the hotel. Rest of the evening is free at leisure. Enjoy dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2: Ranikhet - Almora – Ranikhet hill station [53 kms/3 hrs]

Next day of Ranikhet tour, After enjoying breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing including Hairakhan Temple, Chaubatia, Bhaludam, Jhoola Devi Ram Mandir, Mankameshwar, Upat, Kalika Tarikhet, Binsar Mahadev and return back to Ranikhet in the evening during Ranikhet tour. Enjoy dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 3: Ranikhet - Delhi

Early morning after breakfast drive to back to Delhi. On arrival, transfer to hotel/ home for your onward journey. Ranikhet Tour and Service Ends

I planned a South India tour from Chennai to Kochi. I asked from many different travel companies but I got the best and cheapest offer by 'Way to India'. That was two weeks travel plan. We visited so many wonderful places and we got enough time for some individual program too. In the first week we visited the historical places like temples, museums and some beaches. In the second week we visited amazing natural attraction. All happened at exactly fixed itinerary. We traveled with a comfortable panoramic mini bus and the bus driver (Mr. Ram) was very kind and talented who could manage a good restaurant for dinner and lunch every day. Thanks to Waytoindia for 10 day in Rajasthan- Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Mount Abu and Ahmedabad. Everything from pickup from Jaipur airport to drop at Ahmedabad airport was very smooth. The hotels booked in Jaipur and Udaipur were amazing. In Jaisalmer the camel ride and Jeep safari though a bit expensive was a good experience. The car and the driver for the entire 10 days was very good. Thanks to the driver Mahesh, who drove the 2 ladies for the entire 10 days safely and dropped us in time for the return flight to Bangalore.
