Romantic Tale of Frazergunj
Frazergunj, the most spectacular beach of Bakkhali named after Bengal’s Lieutenant Governor Andrew Frazer, has an exclusive past drenched in love. Frazer fell in love with a local woman Narayani who saved him from a shipwreck. However, the tale found a tragic end when Frazer’s wife got Narayani shot dead. The bungalow built by Frazer for his beloved stands as the moot witness to the sad love story.
