Cochin Carnival 2013-14
Like every year, Cochin Carnival this year is going to be a week long festivity, from December 25 to January 01. The rustic old world charm of Fort Cochin blends with distinct adornments and decorations. Preparations are already making headlines and it is the right time to book your participation.
Carnival Highlights
One highlight which is just not worth missing is the massive procession of exquisitely embellished elephants on New Year’s Day. Other than that, you can enjoy activities like floor painting, games and competitions, dance performances and shopping from makeshift shops available all around. Cochin in itself is a world-famous tourist destination. While attending the carnival, don’t miss the opportunity to visit hotspots like Chinese Fishing Nets, Santa Cruz Basilica, St. Francis Church, Dutch palace and Cherai Beach.
