Day by Day itineraryDay 1: KochiWelcome to Kerala, God’s own Country!!
As you arrive at Kochi airport or Ernakulam station, our arranged vehicle would take you to your hotel. Check in at the hotel and get refreshed.
Later you would be going for Kochi city tour.
Kochi is located on Arabian sea and it is one of the most important and busy ports in India.
This vibrant town has many things to offer, history, culture, cuisines and shopping!!
In city tour of Kochi, you would be visiting Jewish Synagogue (not open on Saturdays and Jewish holidays) in Jew Town, Mattancherry Palace (not open on Fridays and public holidays). Later visit Chinese Fishing Nets, the only ones in India and St. Francis Church (not open for visitors on Sundays from 08.00 to 11.00 hrs.) the oldest European Church in India.
In the evening, you can go for shopping. Kochi is famous for spices, silk and South Indian sarees and sweets also!!
To see the artistic side of the town and to experience a good time, go for Kathakali dance performance at 5 pm.

Day 2: Kochi – Munnar (130 km/ appx. 31/2-4 hrs.) Proceed to Munnar after breakfast. A journey through hills and mountains takes you to hill Munnar, one of the most famous hill stations in South India.
Once you arrive in Munnar, check in at the hotel. Later you can explore this beautiful town or take rest in your hotel.

Day 3: Sightseeing of MunnarAfter taking breakfast at the hotel, go for tour of Munnar.
In this tour, visit Mattupetty dam, various tourist points in Munnar, Devikulam and tea estates.

Day 4: Munnar – Thekkady (120 km/ appx. 3 hrs.)After taking your breakfast, proceed to Thekkady.
Thekkady is known for Periyar wildlife sanctuary and spice plantations.
Check in at the hotel and quickly get refreshed. Later proceed for sightseeing tour of Thekkady.
Visit spice plantations around and other tourist places. You can also have a nature walk.

Day 5: Periyar wildlife sanctuary /Thekkady – Allppey (142 Km/ appx. 2 1/2-3 hrs)At 6 am, proceed to visit Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Take a boat ride in lake Periyar. You can see variety of animals and birds during this ennjoyable boat ride.
Later come back to the hotel, have your breakfast and proceed to Alleppey.
Upon arrival, check in at the houseboat.
Enjoy serenity of backwaters as houseboat sails through. You can also see villages and scenic islands in the backwaters.
Stay on the houseboat is really an unique experience. While enjoying the backwaters, you would have delicious cuisines on board prepared and served fresh!!

Day 6: Alleppey– Kovalam (170 Km / appx. 4 hrs.)After having breakfast, at 10.30 am, proceed to Kovalam, one of the most popular beaches in India.
Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.
After you get refreshed, visit various beaches in and around Kovalam. The famous beaches are Hawa beach, Light House beach and Ashoka beach. You can also enjoy water sports activities on the beaches.

Day 7: Kovalam– Trivandrum – Kovalam (20 Km/ appx. 1 hr. one way)After breakfast, at 10.30 am, go for city tour on Trivandrum, capital city of Kerala.
Visit famous Padmanabhaswami temple(dhoti for gentlemen and saree for ladies is mandatory to wear). Later visit Palace museum and Raja Ravi Varma Art Gallery.
Back to Kovalam. In rest of the time,you can roam around on beach in Kovalam.

Day 8: Kovalam – Kanyakumari (82 Km / appx. 2 hrs.) After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of mainland of India.
Kanyakumari is located on the confluence of Indian ocean Arabian sea and Bay of Bengal that offers picturesque views to visitors.
Upon arrival,check in at the hotel. After getting refreshed, visit Kumari Mata Mandir and Vivekananda rock memorial. Enjoy spectacular views of the sunset. Back to your hotel.
Stay at Kanyakumari.
Day 9: Kanyakumari – Trivandrum (85 Km / appx. 2 hrs.) It’s time to say goodbye to land of mountains, backwaters and beaches.
After breakfast,transfer to Trivandrum airport or railway station as per your onward connection.
