In 1789, during the raids of Tipu Sultan, the idol of Sri Krishna was brought from the Guruvayoor Temple to the Ambalappuzha Temple for safe keeping. The Padmanabhaswamy temple is a beautiful amalgamation of the Dravidian style and an intricate Kerala style of architecture.
Napier Zoo and many other attractions of the state capital Trivandrum can also be explored.

Then visit the Gandhi Memorial. It is a pink memorial building with sea views. It is the site where Gandhi's ashes were held after his death.
Lastly, you will see the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue. The rock is famous for the Vivekananda memorial that stands on one of two rocks, whereas, the Thiruvalluvar statue is famous because it’s a stone sculpture of the Tamil poet and philosopher Thiruvalluvar.

Day 11: Trivandrum DepartureThis is the last day of your love-filled romantic Kerala honeymoon holiday. After breakfast, transfer to Trivandrum international airport will be arranged and you will board your flight back home.
