Day by Day itineraryDay 1: Kochi – Munnar (130 km./ approximately 4 hours)South India welcomes you as you commence your Kerala hill station tour package. Once you exit from the Kochi airport, drive to Munnar. The journey is exotic since the route passes through hills and mountains. On your way, you can see the Valara waterfalls, Cheeyappara waterfalls and spice plantation. The spouting waters of these falls seem enchanting.
On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. The rest of the day is at your will to explore.
We recommend you to visit the Kundale Lake. It is Asia’s first Arch dam. This place has a splendid view of the majestic landscapes and rich forests. The boating experience here is beyond words.
Later, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Munnar SightseeingDay 2 of your Kerala hill station tour package begins with Munnar sightseeing. Located near the Anaimudi Peak, which is the highest peak in the Western Ghats, Munnar is like a painter’s canvas.
Post a healthy breakfast, visit the famous attractions in Munnar- Mattupetty dam, Devikulam and tea estates.
Lush green tea plantations and forests surrounds the Mattupetty Dam. Boating facilities at the dam attract thousands of visitors.
Devi kulam is a destination worth visiting. It is a small hill station in Keralanear Munnar and colours and vibrancy of nature surrounds its Sita Devi Lake.
The tea estate is perched at an elevation of 8000 ft. above the sea level. This conventional tea factory lays claim to being one of the world’s highest tea estate. It is popular for its flavoursome tea varieties.
Head back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Exploring MunnarOn the third day of your Kerala hill station package, savour a delicious breakfast and you can spend the rest of the day on your own terms.
You can visit the Echo point. The charismatic beauty of this place is quite captivating. Your voice reverberates around the attraction as you scream in joy.
Another tourist attraction in Munnar is the Rose garden. The agricultural plantations exude mesmerising aromas and attracts nature enthusiasts from all over the world.
If time permits, visit the Hydel Park. It is an expansive park known for bird watching, nature trails and scenic lookout points. Indulge in an elephant ride and horse riding here.
Enjoy local cuisine at a good restaurant and stay overnight at the hotel in Munnar.
Day 4: Munnar – Alleppey (174 Km/ appx 4 hrs)The next destination on your Kerala hill station package is Alleppey. After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Munnar and proceed to Alleppey. It is a beautiful backwater town. Once you arrive at Alleppey, check in at the houseboat and cruise over the emerald backwaters.
Known as the ‘Venice of the East’, you can explore the beautiful Kerala backwaters here as the boat sails through. You can spot villages and scenic islands in the backwaters. Moreover, you can behold postcard-perfect sights with coconut trees lined all along the houseboats.
