The valley of Kashmir in and around is so beautiful that at the very first sight, you will fall in love with it. In fact, the charm and magnificence of Kashmir are beyond the scope of mere words and one needs to witness the beauty of Kashmir to believe it.

Itinerary Details

Day by Day itineraryDay 1: Srinagar Arrival

Arrive at Srinagar Airport where our tour representative will welcome you. Transfer to the houseboat at Dal Lake and rest for some time. Spend time exploring the enthralling beauty dominating the place before the dinner is served.

Day 2: Srinagar Sightseeing

Start this exciting day with breakfast before we guide you through the beautiful Mughal Gardens of the city. You will be spellbound by the well-planned and lush green Nishat and Shalimar Gardens which enjoy the backdrops of the snow-capped peaks. Return to the houseboat for lunch and get ready for the extraordinary Shikara boat ride on the Dal Lake. Feel blessed by nature’s eternal magnificence and enjoy the views of many popular monuments at the shores. End the day with breathtaking sunset views before getting back to the houseboat.

Day 3: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar (52 km. each side)

Today, the breakfast will be followed by the excursion to Gulmarg, the meadow of flowers, known for its world-class skiing slopes and golf course. Have some remarkable views of the snow-capped mountains and spectacular landscapes. The highlight of the trip would be the thrilling gondola cable car ride which will take you to great heights for splendid views of the region rightly termed as the paradise. Get back to the houseboat by evening.

Day 4: Srinagar – Pahalgam – Srinagar (97 km. each side)

Get up early, have breakfast and follow the route to Pahalgam. Visit the eye-pleasing saffron fields and the must-visit Sulphur Springs at Anantnag on the way. You will also visit the captivating ruins of Vishnu Temple at Avantipur before reaching Pahalgam. Explore the fascinating valleys, sprawling meadows and locations popular among the Indian filmmakers. Drive back to Srinagar and reach the houseboat in the evening.

Day 5: Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar (82 km. each side)

Have breakfast and get into the car for today’s excursion which includes the unforgettable visit to Sonmarg, the meadows of gold. Get awe-struck by the beauty of this alpine valley located on the bank of Sindh River. You may opt to ride a pony and visit Thajiwas Glacier which remains covered with snow forever. After enjoying this inimitable experience, drive back to the houseboat at Srinagar.

Day 6: Srinagar Departure

After breakfast, you will be dropped to the airport where you will board the flight to your destination and end the tour.

I planned a South India tour from Chennai to Kochi. I asked from many different travel companies but I got the best and cheapest offer by 'Way to India'. That was two weeks travel plan. We traveled with a comfortable panoramic mini bus and the bus driver (Mr. Ram) was very kind and talented who could manage a good restaurant for dinner and lunch every day. Thanks to Waytoindia for 10 day in Rajasthan- Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Mount Abu and Ahmedabad. Everything from pickup from Jaipur airport to drop at Ahmedabad airport was very smooth. The hotels booked in Jaipur and Udaipur were amazing. In Jaisalmer the camel ride and Jeep safari though a bit expensive was a good experience. The car and the driver for the entire 10 days was very good. Thanks to the driver Mahesh, who drove the 2 ladies for the entire 10 days safely and dropped us in time for the return flight to Bangalore.
