Itinerary Details

Day by Day itineraryDay 1: Delhi - Dehradun [240 Kms/ 5-6 hrs approx.]

Pick you from your convenient place. Departure for Dehradun and break for lunch in afternoon. Later proceed for Dehradun. On arrival, check into the hotel and rest of the day is at leisure. Enjoy your dinner in the evening & Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2: Dehradun

After breakfast proceed for full day city tour of Dehradun as this beautiful hill station has several attractions, many of which are academic institutions and research centres of national importance. Forest Research Institute is main centre of research and planning in the fields of flora and fauna in India. Robber's Cave, situated on the outskirts of the city, is a famous view point. Tapovan is the place where it is believed that Guru Dronacharya (of Mahabharata) had his ashram. Tapkeshwar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is known for its association with Mahabharata. Dakpatthar is a major tourist attraction opening the visitors to the beauty of Doon Valley. Later in evening visit the market. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3: Dehradun - Mussoorie [35 Kms/ 1 hr & 15 mins]

In the morning after a healthy breakfast, check out and drive to Mussoorie. En route visit Nag Devta Temple and the Lake of Mussoorie. On arrival, check into the hotel. After launch rest of the day is at leisure at your own. In evening you can go for shopping & dinner at The Mall Road. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4: Mussoorie

In the morning after breakfast in the hotel visit for full day sightseeing of Mussoorie with covering Gun Hill, Lal Tibba, Camels Back End, Cloud end, Jwalaji Temple, Sir George Everest House, Jharipani Fall, Bhatta Falls etc. and return back to the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5: Mussoorie - Chamba [48 kms/ 2 hrs]

After enjoying the breakfast in the hotel, drive to Chamba, sightseeing En-route. On arrival, check into the hotel and relax for some time. In evening enjoy the scenic beauty of Chamba and Darshan at Temples. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6: Chamba - Rishikesh [67 kms/ 2 hrs & 30 mins]

After an Early breakfast, drive towards to Rishikesh. On arrival check into the hotel, Freshen up and visit Laxman Jhoola, Ram Jhoola, Swarga Ashram, Pushkar Temple, Shatrughan Temple, Muni-Ki-Reti and Triveni Ghat. Enjoy dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7: Rishikesh - Haridwar - Delhi

After an early breakfast, drive to Delhi. En-route visit to Haridwar for darshan and later continue to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, transfer to your convenient place for onward destination with lots of happy memories.

Thanks to Waytoindia for 10 day in Rajasthan- Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Mount Abu and Ahmedabad. Everything from pickup from Jaipur airport to drop at Ahmedabad airport was very smooth. The hotels booked in Jaipur and Udaipur were amazing. In Jaisalmer the camel ride and Jeep safari though a bit expensive was a good experience. The car and the driver for the entire 10 days was very good. Thanks to the driver Mahesh, who drove the 2 ladies for the entire 10 days safely and dropped us in time for the return flight to Bangalore.
