Nau Devi Yatra

The famous Nau Devi Yatra is a spiritual journey that discovers the top shrines dedicated to Goddess Shakti in North India. The tour package offers the opportunity to join this life-changing pilgrimage and discover the natural beauty of the Himalayas alongside.

Nau Devi Yatra tour starts at Haridwar where you would be visiting Mansa Devi temple. This would be followed by a visit to another temple of Mansa devi at Panchkula in Haryana.

Next you would be visiting six temples of Goddess Durga in Himachal - Naina Devi, Baglamukhi Devi, Chintpurni, Chamunda Devi, Jwala Devi and Kangra Devi

Finally you would drive to Karta to visit the famous Vaishno Devi Shrine. This would complete your 9 Devi Yatra package

Itinerary Details

Day by Day itineraryDay 1: Arrival at Haridwar – Rishikesh Sightseeing

Join the road trip from Delhi to Haridwar and check in at the booked hotel on arrival. Get refreshed before we take you to the nearby holy town of Rishikesh which rests on the bank of River Ganga. Explore attractions like Ram Jhula, Lakshman Jhula, Sivananda Ashram, Swarg Ashram, Geeta Ashram and others. Join the spectacular evening aarti of the holy river Ganga before getting back to the hotel.

Day 2: Haridwar Sightseeing – Chandigarh

Get up early morning and take a sanctifying holy dip in Ganga at Har-ki-Pauri. Enjoy the thrill of ropeway ride which takes you to the Mansa Devi Temple perched on a hilltop. Check out from the hotel and proceed to Chandigarh. Check in on arrival and relax.

Day 3: Chandigarh – Dharamshala

Visit the second shrine, the Temple of Mansa Devi at Panchkula. Later, travel to Dharamshala, a popular hill station in Himachal Pradesh. On the way, visit 3 shrines at Naina Devi, Baglamukhi Devi and Chintpurni Mata. Check in at the hotel in Dharamshala.

Day 4: Dharamshala Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will be visiting 3 more shrines – Chamunda Devi, Jwalaji and Kangra Devi. Also visit Tibetan Monastery which is home to Dalai Lama. Get back to the hotel late evening.

Day 5: Dharamshala - Katra

Join the road trip to Katra in Jammu & Kashmir. Check in at the hotel on arrival and take rest.

Day 6: Vaishno Devi Temple

Visit the last shrine of the tour, the Vaishno Devi Temple. Get back to the hotel by night.

Day 7: Katra Departure

Have breakfast before you are transferred to the airport or railway station for further journey or you may drive back to Delhi.

Thanks to Waytoindia for 10 day in Rajasthan- Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Mount Abu and Ahmedabad. Everything from pickup from Jaipur airport to drop at Ahmedabad airport was very smooth. The hotels booked in Jaipur and Udaipur were amazing. In Jaisalmer the camel ride and Jeep safari though a bit expensive was a good experience. The car and the driver for the entire 10 days was very good. Thanks to the driver Mahesh, who drove the 2 ladies for the entire 10 days safely and dropped us in time for the return flight to Bangalore.
