Day-by-day itinerary

A carefully paced plan, day by day. Tap any day for the stay, meals and altitude detail.

Begin the tour with arrival at Leh, the most popular town of Ladakh. From the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel where you would relax and acclimatize to the high-altitude sickness. Later, explore the magnificent town at leisure and take leisurely walk across the local markets. Return to the hotel for dinner.
After breakfast, travel to Lamayuru. On the way, spend some time at the heart-warming Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a Sikh shrine. Reach the campsite at Alchi or Ule and have lunch. Later, explore the fascinating landscape which resembles the surface of moon. Visit the region’s oldest Buddhist Monastery at Lamayuru before returning to the camp.
Finish breakfast and start the trip back to Leh. Visit the popular Hall of Fame on the way. Check in at the hotel in Leh on arrival and spend the remaining day at leisure before the dinner is served.
After breakfast, drive through Changla Pass (world’s third highest) to reach the Pangola Lake, an exquisite lake with unbeatable natural splendour. The road journey to the lake is immensely pleasing with flawless nature spread all around. Located at 14,500 ft. above sea level near the Indo-Tibetan border, the lake is a proud host to exotic birds (both indigenous and migratory). Be thrilled to spend an unforgettable night at the camp near the lake.
As you are done with breakfast, we drive you back to Leh. On the way, you will be visiting the splendid monasteries at Hemis and Thiksey and the outstanding Shey Palace. Discover an exclusive collection of captivating murals, statues and frescos at these places before arriving at the hotel in Leh.
After breakfast, get ready for a stimulating drive to the world’s highest mountain road at Khardungla Pass (at 18,380 ft.). Get back to Leh hotel and have lunch. Spend the remaining day at your will, visiting the markets and other local attractions and get back to the hotel.
We will drop you to the airport early morning. Board the flight to your destination to end the tour.
