Essential Travel Tips

This gives the option to detour to visit nearby villages and interesting tourist sightseeing spots on the outskirts.
- While visiting Taj Mahal do not bring in metal or food items. Try visiting Taj Mahal during sunset.
- Beware of thieves; pickpockets are a common menace on the tourist sites. Keep your passport, Visa, and cash safely on you.
- Watch the light and sound show in Khajuraho at the Western group of temples. Plan your schedule in a manner, which allows you to visit the temple during sunrise, or sunset when they are open for tourist darshan.
- Either you opt for a guide to take you around the Khajuraho temples for four hours or you can also buy a Walkman guide / ‘’audio tour‘’ from the MP Tourism Counter in the Western Group of Temples.
